What We Offer

At The Happy Hound we have a range of services to meet the needs of every client wherever they’re at in the process. The first step for any new client is to begin with an evaluation.

Evaluation

  • $150

    This diagnostic session is REQUIRED for new clients before booking a lesson package or board and train in order to ensure you are matched with the appropriate program for your training needs. During this time, you and your trainer will discuss lifestyle, behavioral issues and decide on realistic training goals. In this 1.5 hour consultation, your trainer will assess your situation and recommend a plan of action, necessary tools, and an appropriate training program.

Private Lessons

In private lessons, we address your dog’s behavioral issues hands-on. We will come to you, typically once a week every week, for the duration of your package. The trainer will walk you through the steps of training your own dog. This program can be challenging because YOU must be willing to put in the work. While we are there to teach you the skills, it is up to you to apply what you have learned to your daily life. Results will highly depend on the amount of work you put in on your own time.

  • $390

    This package is for minor behaviors or getting started on the right foot with your new puppy. For raising and training a puppy, a series of 3 pack lessons spread out over your dogs first 6-8 months is recommended.

  • $750

    This training package is great for people with moderate behavior goals like reactivity, basic obedience, leash manners, door dashing, jumping, barking etc.

  • $1,150

    This training package is geared towards working with dogs that present more intensive behaviors like resource guarding, anxiety/aggression, and off leash obedience. 

  • $140

    This is a single 45-60 minute lesson. It can be used in addition to a lesson package or as a stand alone lesson to work on desired behaviors. This service is ONLY for pre-existing clients who have completed a training package.  New clients will need to book an evaluation with the trainer first where they will then be given a recommendation for an appropriate training package.

Board and Train

Currently this service is only offered under specific circumstances. Contact us to find out if this program is available to you! In board and train programs, we do the heavy lifting for you! Your dog will be fully immersed into a training lifestyle from drop off to pick up, spending several hours a day working one on one with their trainer. Your dog will develop a new foundation and state of mind that makes training at home easier for you. We train your dog, and then we train you!

  • $1800 (Before Tax)

    This is a training program geared for people with minor behavior goals like puppy training and basic obedience.

    Includes:

    - Prong or slip lead
    - Free hour long Go-home lesson
    - 1 Free follow up lesson
    - Unlimited email support during and after program

  • $2750 (Before Tax)

    This is a great training program for people with moderate behavior goals like reactivity, basic obedience, leash manners, door dashing, jumping, etc. This is the bare minimum length of time for a dog with any behavioral issues unless they have completed prior training with me.

    Includes:

    - Prong or slip lead
    - E-collar
    - Free 1-2 hour long Go-home lesson
    - 1 Free follow up lesson
    - Unlimited email support during and after program

  • $3500 (Before Tax)

    This is a program aimed at dogs with a need to work on more intensive behaviors like resource guarding, anxiety/aggression, and off leash obedience. 

    Includes:

    - Prong or slip lead
    - E-collar
    - Free (optional) weekly 1 hour lessons
    - Free 1-2 hour long Go-home lesson
    - 1 Free follow up lesson
    - Unlimited email support during and after program

  • $960 (Before Tax)

    This is a program available ONLY as maintenance for clients who have successfully completed prior training with ME. Other training will not count toward this program.

    Includes:

    - Free hour long Go-home lesson
    - Unlimited email support during and after program

Group Services

An opportunity for clients to get real world training, exposure, and to safely work their dogs in a controlled group environment.

  • $10

    A 1 hr long walk where we will meet at a designated location and walk together as a pack. We will also mix in some breaks for obedience and training questions throughout our walk!

Please note that lesson prices DO NOT include the cost of training equipment. Basic training collars will range from $25-$50. If an E-collar is recommended, we will only use trusted top of the line collars which will range from $200-$300.
